Brunelle's Marina was back open for business on Saturday, one day after a fire destroyed the on-site restaurant and boat shop.
The South Hadley Fire Department, as well as the fire marshal's office, was on hand Saturday afternoon looking for what caused the five alarm fire.
But the marina's boat ramp was open, as was the makeshift restaurant under a tent along the water.
Owner Luke Brunelle told CBS 3 that he was pleasantly surprised at how busy they were.
"This is really like our third weekend of summer, for sunny weekends," said Brunelle. "The first six weeks were all rain. This is a nice weekend, a typical sunny weekend, except without a building."
Brunelle said once the fire marshal's office is done with its investigation, he hopes to get back inside the building to see what can be salvaged.
