An administrative judge recently ruled that a police officer who allegedly choked a suspect did nothing wrong.
We first told you about Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Officer Scott Berry back in November. In the video CBS 5 News obtained, you see Berry removing the handcuffs of a threatening suspect, and he appears to engage him in a fighting stance, then forces him to sit down.
But an administrative law judge ruled this month that Berry showed restraint, and acted appropriately.
Berry's attorney tells us the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board will discuss the case in August.
