Maricopa County sheriff's deputies found the body of a man in the desert near Gila Bend on Sunday, the fifth body found in four days believed to have been the victim of Arizona's torrid desert heat.
A deputy found the man's body in a metal storage shed near two empty water tanks just south of Interstate 8 southeast of Gila Bend, said Deputy Joaquin Enriquez.
No identification was found and there were no signs of trauma or foul play, Enriquez said.
The bodies of four suspected undocumented immigrants were found in the same area on Thursday, but Enriquez said it was not know if the fifth victim was part of that group.
"For quite some time now, I've been warning, border crossings in this harsh desert, is very dangerous" Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said.
