Utility crews in Norwich are working to replace a utility pole after a vehicle struck it and snapped it in half.
The accident happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday on Broad Street, in the area of McKinley Avenue.
The driver of the car, who has only been identified as a man in his 20's, was taken to William Backus Hospital for minor head lacerations, officials said.
Norwich police said part of Broad Street near McKinley Avenue is expected to be closed for 4-5 hours.
