
Springfield police are searching for the shooter after a man was shot in the head Wednesday night near the Six Corners part of the city.
Police tell CBS 3 it was a graze wound and the man is expected to survive.
They responded to 98 Florence St. just before 9 p.m. after witnesses reported hearing multiple shots fired.
There they found multiple casings from at least two different guns.
Police followed a blood trail out of the window of that home and found the victim at 142 Cedar St.
He was taken to Baystate Medical Center.
As of 11 p.m. Springfield and state police were still on-scene investigating.
