For the 10th year in a row, Blandford Ski Area honored the military on Saturday.
At 12 p.m., staff and skiers gathered outside of Blandford's new lodge to raise the American flag and honor the military with the National Anthem.
Military appreciation day at Blandford was started 10 years ago by the now deceased Col. William Whitman.
His daughter is Lisa Masciadrelli, the ski area's children's program director. She said it feels good to keep the annual tradition alive.
As part of military appreciation day, all military personnel with proper identification were allowed to ski and snowboard for free.
