Animal Welfare Insurance Agency to attend 2013 VFHS Conference.

Animal Welfare Organization Insurance Program, LLC announced today that they will be attending the 2013 Virginia Federation of Humane Societies Annual Conference in April. This year’s conference will be held in Virginia Beach and AWOIP, LLC will be hosting the annual networking hour. This is the 3rd Year that AWOIP, LLC will attend and sponsor this event. In previous years, the team has met many animal welfare advocates, directors, volunteers, and board of directors while learning about their unique animal shelters, SPCA’s, and humane societies.

“We look forward to attending every year, and are honored that Virginia Federation of Humane Societies has invited us to return for a third year,” stated Brian Barrick, Co-Founder of AWOIP, LLC. “It gives us a chance to hear about the shelters and rescues daily struggles with adoptions, risk management, insurance, and best practices. Our goal each year is to listen and help them find solutions for all these areas.”

Animal Welfare Organization Insurance Program, LLC was founded in 2010 by Brian Barrick. The insurance agency is based in Hanover, Pennsylvania but helps animal shelters, rescues, and sanctuaries across the United States.
