Holyoke man charged with breaking and entering

HOLYOKE, MA (WSHM) -

Police arrested a 21-year-old man Sunday morning on several charges including breaking and entering in the night with intention to commit a felony.

Holyoke resident Kevin Velez is facing the charges.

Lt. Matthew Moriarty told CBS 3 that Velez broke into a house on Francis Avenue and left with numerous items that belonged to the home owners.

Officers tracked Velez down to his apartment on Columbus Avenue, where they arrested him and several items were recovered.
