PORTLAND, OR (KPTV) -
An argument over a New Year's drinking game landed one man in the hospital with stab wounds.
Portland police said a 23-year-old man was dropped off at the emergency room at Portland Adventist Medical Center at 3 a.m. Tuesday.
Officers responded and learned he was stabbed after a fight with another man over a game of beer pong.
Investigators said the victim didn't actually realize he'd been stabbed until his friends noticed he was bleeding and drove him to the hospital.
They were at a house party somewhere near Northeast 82nd and Fremont, but officers said they don't have a suspect description and were not able to locate a crime scene.
The stabbing victim was transferred by ambulance to a different Portland hospital for further treatment to serious injuries.
