MONSON, MA (WSHM) -
With a winter storm heading our way, local officials have begun implementing winter parking bans.
The following bans have been put into effect:
Agawam: The parking ban is in effect from midnight Wednesday until Thursday, Dec. 27. at 6 p.m. There is no street parking.
Hampden: The town is reminding residents of the parking ban that took effect in November and goes through April 1, 2013. No cars should be parked on the street.
Easthampton: The parking ban is from 11 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday. The parking ban is for all city streets.
Granby: The parking ban is from 6 p.m. Wednesday until further notice. There is no parking allowed on any street.
Holyoke: The parking ban is from 7 p.m. Thursday until Friday, Dec. 28 at 7a.m. There is no parking allowed on the odd side of any street, unless otherwise posted.
Monson: The parking ban is from midnight through Thursday, Dec. 27 at noon. There is no parking allowed on any streets.
Springfield: The parking ban is from 7 p.m. Wednesday until Thursday, Dec. 27 at 4 p.m. There is no parking on the even side of the street between 7 p.m. Wednesday until 7 a.m. Thursday. No parking on the odd side from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Thursday.
West Springfield: The parking ban is from 9 p.m. Wednesday until further notice. There is no parking allowed on any streets.
