
With Christmas just two days away, many consider this to be the busiest shopping weekend of the year.
Plenty of signs point to that being the case at the Eastfield Mall.
Management told CBS 3 that foot traffic is much higher than they had seen in recent years, and several stores barely had time to restock their shelves.
They said shoppers appear ready to spend money this holiday season.
"They are tired of all of the negativity with the financial situation," said Melinda Graulau, general manager of the Eastfield Mall.
