New details about possible West Springfield casino - CBS 3 Springfield - WSHM

A week after news broke that Hard Rock International may be interested in building a casino in West Springfield, new details are emerging.
Town Councilor Brian Griffin tells CBS 3 that the Eastern States Exposition has reached out to real estate developer Richard Bronson for help.
"The latest development is the assistance with The Bronson Group or the Bronson Companies," said Griffin. "The Bronson Companies have been hired by the Eastern States Exposition to consult them with some of the traffic studies, environmental impacts, and they're also a very good group to assist in community relations."
Very few details about a potential casino are available at this time. Calls have gone unreturned from Hard Rock, Bronson Companies and the Eastern States Exposition.
Last week the CEO of the Big E said a major announcement may be coming shortly.
