Springfield man in serious condition after being hit by car

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

A Springfield man is in serious condition after he was hit by a car on State Street.

Police said it happened just before 6:30 Wednesday night. They said the man went through the windshield of a car.

The driver did stop at the scene.

As of 11 Wednesday night police were still on site investigating the accident.
