Civil Air Patrol holds Wreaths Across America event - CBS 3 Springfield - WSHM

A local Civil Air Patrol unit took part in a wreath-laying ceremony on Saturday.
The event, held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, was part of Wreaths Across America.
More than 600 squadrons across the country took part in the event last year.
The event honored the 25 million men and women who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces throughout the country's history.
During Saturday's ceremony, 1,100 wreaths were placed on veterans' graves at the Agawam cemetery.
Nationwide, that number was more than 325,000 wreaths.
