Columbia Gas warning residents of scam

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Columbia Gas of Massachusetts is warning residents to be aware of imposters.

They told CBS 3 people are going around claiming to be an employee and attempting to enter their homes. The company says all employees carry identification and drive a Columbia Gas identified vehicle.

If you are approached by someone claiming to be an employee but does not meet the criteria, call police.
