Scottsdale-based Go Daddy has announced the appointment of Blake Irving as its new chief executive officer.
He will succeed Scott Wagner who has been serving as interim CEO since July.
Irving was a long-time Microsoft executive and chief product officer of Yahoo! Incorporated.
He currently serves on the Board of GolfLogix, a Scottsdale-based mobile web company. He has also served as a professor at Pepperdine University.
He is a graduate of San Diego State and received an MBA degree from Pepperdine University.
Irving's new appointment take effect on Jan. 7, 2013.
