Several hurt in new I-10 crash south of Casa Grande - CBS 3 Springfield - WSHM

Several people were injured in a one-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 south of Casa Grande Wednesday night, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.

Two people were airlifted and a third person was transported to a Tucson medical center, Rural Metro spokesman Colin Williams said.

The crash happened about 6:20 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-10 at mile post 188.

According to DPS, only one lane is open, triggering massive backups.

No other information was immediately available.
