A 23-year-old Springfield woman is recovering after police say she was shot in both legs Tuesday afternoon.
The woman was found on Bowles Street just after 1 p.m. Tuesday, but police say the shooting didn't happen on the street. Bowles School was locked down for most of the afternoon after the shooting.
The victim is in good condition at Baystate Medical Center. Police say she is not cooperating with their investigation.
