Springfield man not cooperating after being shot

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Police told CBS 3 that a 22-year-old Springfield man who was shot in the left leg early Sunday morning is not cooperating, as they look into what is being considered a drive-by incident.

Sgt. Michael Reed said that the shooting happened at approximately 1 a.m.

The victim said the shooting occurred in the area of Carew Street and Bell Avenue; however, the police shot-spotter indicated a different location.
