Police are investigating an armed robbery from early Saturday morning that occurred at the 7-Eleven on Cooley Street.
Sgt. Michael Reed told CBS 3 that at approximately 2:15 a.m., a Hispanic male entered the store and asked for a pack of cigarettes.
When the cashier opened the register, the suspect allegedly showed a black hand gun and demanded money.
Reed said the clerk closed the drawer and said he could not do that.
The suspect turned around and left the store.
At the time, police told us the only description they had of the suspect was that he was 5'11" tall and clean shaven.
