State police looking for car involved in I-91 hit-and-run

EASTHAMPTON, MA (WSHM) -

State police are searching for a car they say was involved in a hit and run on Interstate 91 Wednesday morning.

An elderly woman was sent to the hospital after another driver made an illegal U-turn on I-91, causing her to crash her car.

State police told CBS 3 that a gray sedan made the illegal turn in the southbound lane in Easthampton around 9:45 a.m.

The woman was taken to Cooley Dickenson Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Anyone with information is asked to call state police.
