Two people and a dog safe after cellar fire - CBS 3 Springfield - WSHM

Springfield fire fighters responded to Ludlow Street in Springfield where a cellar fire broke out.
Fire officials said there were two people and a dog in the home. All three are safe tonight. The two people were taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation. Fire fighters were tending to the dog on scene.
They said someone came out of a nearby bar and rescued the occupant from the cellar before fire crews arrived.
The fire is under investigation. Officials told CBS 3 there is about $20,000 in damage.
Officials are still investigating the cause.
