Northampton man in critical condition after being struck by car

NORTHAMPTON, MA (WSHM) -

A man was struck by a car about 7 p.m. Sunday, and he is in critical condition at Baystate Medical Center.

According to CBS 3 media partner Mass Live and The Republican, the accident happened on Easthampton Road near Roland's Motor Works.

The driver, who is from Easthampton, stopped at the scene and waited for police to arrive.

The accident remains under investigation and no charges have been filed.
