
A daylong police raid in the city's North End on Friday resulted in 10 arrests and the seizure of two illegally possessed handguns, 12 grams of heroin valued at approximately $7,500, $1,100 in cash and .12-gauge shotgun shells.
Massachusetts State Police said the raid was part of the C-3 policing model, which is something CBS 3 featured on our newscasts back in September.
It is a strategy that involves relationships between the police and the community.
At the time, police told CBS 3 that crime was down 68 percent in the North End.
