Insulated doghouse building event in Ludlow - CBS 3 Springfield - WSHM

Kane's Krusade held a doghouse building event on Saturday.
The nonprofit organization looks to help and educate Springfield families who may not be able to financially care for their dogs.
The goal for the entire day was to build seven insulated doghouses.
The not-so-common item would normally cost close to $300.
Part of the group on Saturday were students from the YWCA youth group program.
The students learn a trade as they work to get their GEDs.
