Springfield public schools among many closing due to Sandy

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

As Hurricane Sandy approaches the northeast, many schools have announced they will be closed Monday, Oct. 29 due to the likely bad weather.

Springfield Public Schools announced they would be closed Monday around 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.
