Chicopee police make arrest in Dugout Cafe attack - CBS 3 Springfield - WSHM

Police arrested the man they say is responsible for attacking a female bartender at the Dugout Cafe back in September.
CBS 3 media partner, Mass Live and The Republican, reports the man is Michael Lebert, 49, of Chicopee.
Police said Lebert attacked the 57-year-old bartender with an ax handle around 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 21.
He was charged with armed assault to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
The woman was taken to Baystate Medical Center with significant injuries from the attack.
Police have not given a motive for the attack.
