Scammers using fire department to target Springfield residents - CBS 3 Springfield - WSHM

The Springfield Fire Department is warning of a scam targeting city residents.
Scammers are calling people across the city and claiming the department is collecting money for a fundraiser. The department says they have not authorized any phone calls or campaigns.
Springfield Fire Department officials advise you to ignore any such calls and to not donate any money if you are asked.
