Teen dies in East Longmeadow crash

EAST LONGMEADOW, MA (WSHM) -

East Longmeadow police have released new information about the victim in last night's car crash.

The driver of the car that hit a tree on Prospect Street has died. The 17-year-old, Nicholas Coleman, was a student at Somers High School.

Police told CBS 3 it appears speed was a factor, but police are still looking into other causes.

Coleman was taken to Baystate Medical Center with serious injuries.
