Citizens for Jobs and Growth in Palmer announced Sunday that Massachusetts Gaming Commission Chairman Steve Crosby will visit the town this coming Thursday.
The group will meet with Crosby to learn more about the commission's process and have questions answered regarding casino licensing.
The meeting is set for 4 p.m. at the Pathfinder Regional Vocational Technical High School.
That meeting will be in the same building one day after Palmer businesses meet with officials from Mohegan Sun.
In a release Saturday night, it was announced that Mohegan officials will appear this Wednesday at a regional chamber lunch.
The officials will outline their timeline for a license application and referendum for the town.
