A single-vehicle accident sent three people to the hospital Sunday evening.
Dennis Leger, aide to Fire Commissioner Joseph Conant, told CBS 3 that a Buick went head-on into a tree in the area of 641 Bay St. shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Two sets of Jaws of Life from two different fire trucks had to be used to free the three people inside the car.
There was a male driver and female passenger up front, as well as a male passenger in the back.
Leger said their injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
