Springfield awarded for financial reporting

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Springfield has been awarded with the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting throughout 2011.

That means the city of Springfield is doing a good job of providing customer service to citizens.

When it comes to governmental accounting and financial reporting in the area, that certificate is tops.
