Springfield St. 7-Eleven robbed at knife point

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Springfield police are investigating and armed robbery at 7-Eleven on Springfield Street Wednesday night.

Police say just before 9 p.m., a man in a purple hooded sweatshirt walked into the store with a knife and got away with $200 cash.

He reportedly ran on foot to Chicopee.

Detectives have yet to make an arrest.
