Baystate Franklin nurses will head to picket lines Friday

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Baystate Franklin Medical Center nurses will hit the picket lines on Friday for a strike.

The nurses and Baystate Health didn't find common ground after their 28th negotiating session.

Since June, many have been without contracts.

On Wednesday, nurses protested outside of Baystate Medical Center in Springfield.

The nurses will have a one-day strike in Greenfield starting at 7 a.m. on Friday.
