Man has non-life-threatening injuries in Springfield shooting

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Police were called to a shooting at 2:16 a.m. Saturday morning.

The incident occurred following an argument outside of 82 Malden St.

Lt. Robert Moynihan of the Springfield Police Department told CBS 3 that a man was shot in the leg, but suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Moynihan described the shooter as a 6' tall black man wearing dark clothes, who fled on foot toward Allen Street.
