GREENFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Massachusetts State Police said 911 calls flooded in Sunday afternoon as people driving north on Interstate 91 saw what appeared to be a person in a slow-moving car being held at gun point.

State Trooper Todd Nolan told CBS 3 that troopers from the Shelburne Falls barracks caught up with the vehicle at mile marker 44.2 in Greenfield.

Inside were four males who all attend Plymouth College in New Hampshire.

The gun in question was fake.

Nolan said troopers are not sure what the intent of the fake gun play was, but all four college students received summons for disorderly conduct.
