Westfield police have identified Daniel and Patricia Cyr as the two people who died after an apparent drowning at Hampton Ponds Monday night.
State police said the couple's small dog jumped off the boat and into the water. Then 64-year-old Daniel Cyr jumped into the water after the dog and became distressed. That's when 61-year-old Patricia jumped in to save her husband and also became distressed.
Witnesses said a Jet Ski rider pulled Patricia from the pond and performed CPR.
Investigators believe the drowning was accidental and do not suspect foul play.
Since June, three people have drowned at the ponds.
