Name released of man who crashed vehicle into Springfield home

SPRINGFIELD, MA (WSHM) -

Police told CBS 3 that 23-year-old Christopher Albert of Springfield is the man accused of crashing his car into the house at 428 Berkshire Ave. around 2 a.m. Saturday.

One of the two residents in the home, Henry Santa, said he nearly died as he was sleeping on the living room floor, when the vehicle crashed through.

Albert is facing charges of operating under the influence and leaving the scene.
