Life can seem a little cluttered when your kids start heading back to school. Help organize their lives (and yours).
Create a study area at home: Build some sort of filing system to store your child's papers from school so they don't lose any.
An egg crate or system of folders makes for a perfect filing system.
Make sure to consistently use the filing system you've created. Every week any papers that aren't being used at school for the moment should be taken from your child's backpack and stored in your filing system.
Near the end of the year, children will have tests and will most likely need to refer to those papers that have been filed for study material, making it easier and less stressful for both your child and you.
