No. 11 UMass beat 12th-ranked Bucknell in the first-ever lacrosse meeting between the two teams Saturday in Amherst, 11-9.
UMass is now 2-0 on the season, and 49-3 in its last 52 games when scoring in double-digits.
Will Manny and Kyle Smith both posted hat tricks for the Minutemen, and goalie Tim McCormack stopped six shots.
