UMass turned the ball over six times in a 35-17 loss to Villanova on Homecoming Day.
Redshirt freshman quarterback Brandon Hill threw three interceptions and lost one fumble as the Wildcats picked up their second win of the season.
UMass wide receiver Julian Talley had 11 catches for 155 yards and a touchdown.
