Hundreds of people turned out for a inter-church softball all star game in Chicopee Tuesday night, but the highlight of the game was not the home runs.

The highlight of the night was when Chicopee resident Jeff Pula, was presented with a baseball signed by his 2 favorite Red Sox players, Jason Varitek and Kevin Youklis.

Agawam native and Red Sox announcer Carl Bean, was also on hand for the special moment.

Pula, who was a promising baseball player, lost his eye sight in a car accident a year and a half ago.

We'll have a complete wrap up of this story Sunday night on the Valley Sports Replay.
