SHREWSBURY, Mass. (AP) - A Raynham woman originally charged with trying to help her brother cover up his wife's death is now facing
a murder charge.

The Worcester district attorney's office says Lisa Ricardo,
freed on bail after being charged with being an accessory after the
fact of murder, was indicted Monday on a murder charge.

She was held without bail after pleading not guilty at her
arraignment Tuesday. Her lawyer, Raymond O'Hara, said although the
charges have changed, the facts of the case have not, and Ricardo
has done no criminal wrong.

Prosecutors allege Keith Rosiello beat his wife, Maureen, in
their Shrewsbury home on Feb. 3, but did not alert police until the
next day. Authorities allege Rosiello and Ricardo cleaned the house
in an attempt to cover up the death.

Rosiello has pleaded not guilty.
