ENFIELD, Conn. (AP) - A Connecticut woman will be appearing in
court for the first time since being charged with leaving her two
young children in her car in freezing temperatures while she went
tanning in a salon.

Twenty-eight-year-old Candy Ann Rock of Enfield is to be
arraigned Tuesday in Enfield Superior Court. She's charged with
reckless endangerment and risk of injury to children.

Police says Rock left her two children - ages 3 and just under 1
year - in the parked car, which was not running, for about 18
minutes during her tanning session on Jan. 4. Authorities say the
temperature was about 28 degrees.

The children weren't harmed.

Rock posted $5,000 bail and has declined to comment.
