WESTFORD, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say a Westford man shot his
teenage daughter to death, tried to kill his wife, then turned the
gun on himself in a deadly family dispute.

Police responded to a Makepeace Road home just after 8:30 p.m.
on Monday after tracing a hangup 911 call.

There they found three people in the master bedroom suffering
from gunshot wounds.

The Middlesex district attorney's office says 59-year-old Brian
Marchand and 17-year-old Olivia Marchand were pronounced dead at
the scene. Fifty-year-old Jody Marchand was flown to a hospital
where she was listed Tuesday in critical condition.

Police say Olivia Marchand was a student at Westford Academy,
the local public high school.

Monday's shooting is the second domestic slaying in the town
this year.
