The Armor Gets Fans into Shape

The Springfield Armor is helping get fans into shape. Head Coach Dee Brown hosted NBA and WNBA Fit Day at the Springfield Boys and Girls Club on Thursday night.

Fit Day is held in 35 cities nationwide and provide fun and healthy activities for the whole family.

All participants receive take-home tips and instructional materials to support their health and wellness goals.

Coach Dee Brown says, "It was 100 kids. And they had a great time. we did a lot of drills. We did push up, we did sit up, we did jump rope. There's a lot of things they can do."

The Armor plays its first game the Friday after Thanksgiving at the Mass Mutual Center against Iowa.
