A Springfield landlord company is trying to make tenants lives a little happier this holiday season.

On Thursday, Yellow Brick Property sent out a group of workers to hand out turkeys to all 60 families who call their properties home.

The company says it's an annual tradition many of their tenants have become accustom to while their new residents are usually a bit surprised.

Company officials say it's a great way for landlords to show their tenants some appreciation.

Yellow Brick Property says their goal is to help the city's low income families find good homes and neighborhoods to live in.
