Senator McCain's daughter Meghan was in Amherst on Wednesday night.

She talked to the UMass-Amherst Republican Club about her life in the spot light. Meghan McCain is famous in her own right for blogging and writing a column while her father ran for office.

She talked about health care reform, gay rights and creating a more civil discourse between Republicans and Democrats. She also Glen Beck and Sarah Palin.

Oh God, I remember this. I wasted about 90 minutes of my time going to the Bowker Auditorium to see her. She is possibly as ignorant as her father, if not more so. It doesn't' matter if she isn't a politician...she does not have knowledge of what she blogs about! Heck, as a graduate of Columbia University, she did not know what the military Industrial Complex was!! What an idiot! Please discourage her from speaking in public, in particular at colleges and universities. And make sure she doesn't run for Political office or else we're all screwed.

It was probably one of the dumbest speech/q&a events I've ever seen. There is little to nothing between Meghan McCain's ears and it painfully showed when she ignorantly displayed her lack of knowledge on everything from the military-industrial complex to not even knowing what intelligent design was. When prompted by an audience member as to where the evidence is that the country supports her idiotic quest, she brashly proclaimed "I am the evidence. I'm recognized everywhere."

I thought her presentation was pretty vapid. She wouldn't or couldn't answer the questions of people who challenged her. "We're going to disagree on that, sorry. Next question" was her standard answer. Not a very satisfying evening.

Megan McCain isn't very knowledgeable at all. She danced around so many of the questions, just like her father, John McCain. I guess faking political intelligence runs in the family.
