By CBS 3 Springfield/AP

BRENTWOOD, N.Y. (AP) - A 98-year-old World War II veteran is
dead after a car crash involving a suspected drunken driver.
The accident happened late Friday in Brentwood, Long Island.
Suffolk County police say Joseph Capotosto, of Queens, was in
the back seat of a car being driven by his daughter, Patricia
Capotosto, when another car hit them.
Joseph Capotosto was pronounced dead at Southside Hospital in
Bay Shore.
Police said the driver of the other car, 24-year-old Juan
Collantes, appeared to be intoxicated. He was on probation for
another drunken driving conviction.
Collantes pleaded not guilty to drunken driving at his
arraignment Saturday.
