Kerry traveling to Asia with Biden

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. John Kerry will join Vice President-elect
Joe Biden on a weeklong fact-finding trip to Southwest Asia
beginning later this week.

Sens. Jack Reed of Rhode Island, Susan Collins of Maine and
Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, will also make the trip, Kerry's
office announced Monday. Kerry is the incoming chairman of the
Senate Foreign Relations panel.

Details of the trip were not immediately released due to
security reasons. Kerry recently traveled to Pakistan, Afghanistan,
Georgia and India.
